While most airlines are seeking to boost their environmental credentials and cut carbon emissions, Australian carrier Qantas has taken the opposite tack. The flag-carrier will next month offer a seven-hour trip around the country, taking off from and returning to Sydney Domestic Airport. South Africa to reopen to international visitors in October | News

South Africa is preparing to reopen its borders to international travellers for the first time since March. In an address to the nation earlier, president Cyril Ramaphosa confirmed the process would begin on October 1st. The move comes as the country enters national lockdown alert ‘level one’ from Sunday, following a significant decrease in infections. Thailand added to England quarantine safe list | News

Visitors arriving in England from Thailand and Singapore will no longer be expected to isolate for 14-days from Saturday after both countries were added to the safe travel list. Both destinations are also already exempt from the Foreign & Commonwealth Officer global advisory against all “non-essential travel”.
