Yas Island Abu Dhabi has launched a new online brand campaign entitled ‘Experience it to Believe it’ – designed to entice Israel based holidaymakers to visit Yas Island. The advertising campaign represents one of the first destination marketing campaigns targeting Israeli holidaymakers, encouraging them to visit one of Abu Dhabi’s leading vacation hotspots. EY warns hospitality rebound could be some months away | News

Consultants at EY have moved to pour cold water on expectations of a quick recovery in the UK hospitality sector today. As a number of small steps are taken as part of the reopening, including pubs welcoming guests to outdoor seating, the latest EY Future Consumer Index suggested any meaningful uptick in demand could still be months away. Turkey rolls out Covid-19 vaccination to tourism employees | News

Turkey has begun the Covid-19 vaccination of tourism employees in coordination with the ministry of culture and tourism, ministry of health and Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA). Vaccination of the entire tourism staff will be completed before the beginning of the summer season. This includes employees at airlines, airports, accommodation facilities and travel agencies, as well as the professional guides. UK government likely to implement traffic light system in mid-May | News

The British government has unveiled more detail on the proposed ‘traffic light’ system it intends to implement as international travel reopens.
